Tadhana Named Among the Inaugural FragCon Awards' Top 5 Asian Fragrance Brands
Tadhana has been named among the Top 5 Asian Fragrance Brands at the inaugural FragCon Awards, presented by the Global Fragrance Convention — the first international fragrance convention dedicated to designer, niche, and independent houses, taking place in Texas, August 2026. The house will exhibit at the convention.
The recognition arrives within Tadhana's first eighteen months in market and continues a year of expanded global visibility. In 2025, Tadhana became the first Filipino niche fragrance house presented at ScentXplore in New York, engaged in the inaugural Grasse Perfume Week, and was a finalist in two categories at the Asia Perfume Awards in Hong Kong.
Founded in August 2023 by perfumer Shale Albao, trained at ISIPCA Paris, and strategist Evgeny Olin, Tadhana launched its debut Persona Collection in late 2024 after fifteen months of development, formulation, and direct ingredient sourcing across the Philippines. Tadhana composes fragrances around uncommon Filipino and Asian hero ingredients in the French perfumery tradition. The house's ingredient library includes Asin Tibuok, the UNESCO-inscribed artisanal salt of Bohol; Mindanao ylang-ylang; Palawan almaciga resin; Bicolano vetiver; Davao coffee and cacao; and sampaguita absolute, the Philippine national flower.

Two collections are currently in market — Persona (2024) and Pause (2025) — with a third, Silverlinings, arriving in late-2026. The house operates between Toronto and Manila with warehouses in New York and Adelaide, and is available direct via tadhana.co and at Scent Grade in the United States.
The FragCon Awards recognise excellence across fragrance categories and geographies. The inaugural convention will gather designer houses, niche perfumers, indie creators, and industry voices including Luckyscent's Steven Gontarski and World of Chris Collins founder Chris Collins for masterclasses, panels, and showcases. Tadhana will present its full collection architecture — Persona, Pause, and Silverlinings — alongside the house's ingredient library on the exhibitor floor.
